California-based spine technology company Spinal Elements has announced the appointment of Ronald (Ron) Lloyd as new President and CEO.
Lloyd succeeds Co-Founder and former President and CEO Jason Blain, who has served as a leader of the organisation since Spinal Elements’ inception as Quantum Orthopedics in 2003.
Before joining Spinal Elements, Mr. Lloyd served as President and CEO of Aziyo Biologics, an integrated regenerative medicine company and took the company public in 2020.
Prior to that, he served as President of Hospital Therapies at Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals and has held senior leadership roles at Baxter International and at Abbott Laboratories.

Spinal Elements designs, develops, manufactures and marketer of innovative medical devices used in spinal surgical procedures.
The company combines medical device technologies, biologics and instrumentation with the aim of create positive surgical outcomes that exceed surgeon and patient expectations.
