Poll: If you had additional funding, which area should be the priority for an ICS and digital across a system? – htn

The latest question we posed to our health tech audience focused on people’s thoughts on investment priorities.

We asked: If you had additional investment/funding, which area should be the priority for an ICS and digital across a system?

66 people took part in the poll, with participants from a wide range of backgrounds including senior programme consultant, product manager, CDIO, and primary care network business manager.

The majority – 41 percent – thought that connectivity, intel and data should be the priority area for investment and funding. Participants selecting this option included senior consultant, product lead, digital transformation relationship manager, and CCIO.

Two answers received a share of 21 percent of the vote each. The first of these answers was innovations for ICS challenges. The roles of participants here included head of urgent care and transformation, senior business manager, director of innovation and senior radiotherapist.

The second answer receiving 21 percent of the vote focused on scaling digital remote care, with voters including GP, consultant and advisor, CDIO, and chief biomedical scientist.

Finally, investing in skills for citizens and the healthcare workforce was the preferred priority for 17 percent of participants. Participants included deputy CIO, chairman and CEO, HR manager, and senior account executive.

Are the results as you would expect? Which would you have chosen?
